For those among you who have been loyal readers of the Mutt and Jeff comic strip as has been running on GoComics, and especially those who are keeping track, as of today (Easter Sunday, March 27), it has been five months, two weeks, and two days since a Sunday Mutt and Jeff strip last appeared here. (By the way, that strip, which ran last October 11, had an Easter theme.) For the past several years I have seen Sunday strips off and on running here, but this current dearth of such strips is the longest I can remember. I understand that many have been missing these Sunday strips for some time, and there are certainly those who are or may be demanding their return, given that there have been over 3,000 plus of them in the decades that Mutt and Jeff originally ran. Is it possible if GoComics may resume carrying these strips in the foreseeable future? I would greatly appreciate any input regarding this matter. In the meantime, feel free to read on Monday through Saturday for the time being, dear fans and devotees of the strip.
