Check out my friend. Anybody recognize him? I found him at the Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas.
Off to a gathering of quilters this morning. We will learn how to “sandwich” the layers of a quilt (front, batting & tick). I finished my “I Love Lucy” squares so someone can join them with scripture squares to create the quilt front. (These are “comfort” quilts with alternating squares of patchwork and white muslin with scripture written on them.) The quilts are 5×7 7" squares each, so I made 17 patchwork squares and someone else made the 18 scripture squares.
The weather forecast hasn’t changed much. It is currently 71 and should reach about 92 today.
