    Good morning Vagabonds

Nice warm morning at 14 degrees with fair skies. Forecast says sunny to partly cloudy, high 33. Chatter, chatter, chatter, that’s my teeth. (^.^)

Quiet Saturday on hand going to keep it low and slow. Go for the mail, get Andy’s beer at the quick stop then get back home.

Have a fine day Vagabonds and may the Lord bless your every step.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

We’re looking at 57 today. Another crisp, cool, sunlit day. Lovin’ it!

Yesterday was “faucet nose” day. I had the sniffles all day long and worse if I stood up. Today it’s all gone, but my nose is still raw from using so much tissue. I’m convinced it was a reaction to Wednesday’s flu shot.

I’m in the middle of reading Barbra Streisand’s autobiography. While I don’t care much for her politics, she’s led an interesting life. It’s interesting to read about her internal struggles stemming from a rough childhood with a “helicopter” mom. And she’s had friendly relationships with so many interesting and/or famous people. She talks about them without “telling tales” and it’s refreshing. She was born “Barbara”, but dropped the second “a” in her name professionally because she hated “Barbara” and wanted to be different.

Mike baked a loaf of fresh bread yesterday and brought it over. We all had turkey sandwiches along with the rest of the leftovers. He bought a Christmas tree yesterday and set it up in his apartment undecorated to allow Scooter (see my Avatar) to get used to having it there. Turns out she doesn’t want to climb it, she just wants to chew on it. He really loves having her there, but her personality takes some getting used to.

We’ve been collecting clothing for a homeless outreach that Mike’s church is sponsoring. Last Tuesday at prayer group there were two big bags of stuff left for me to take to him. When I got them home, we discovered that they were full of handmade knit beanies. They will be very welcome in the homeless community.

No bible study this morning, so I’m almost at odds about what to do with my morning…

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good Sabbath Vagabonds

We have sunny Sunday morning going for us right now with a temp of 21. Mix of sun and clouds for most of the afternoon, high of 40. Above freezing, how nice.

The usual Sunday coming up with church, the Sunday meal will be something made of leftover turkey then do the resting this afternoon. (^.^)

A blessed Sabbath for all y’all Vagabonds, and may God travel with you on your way.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I’m doing church online today rather than driving over there. I’ve still got a bit of residual left from the flu shot reaction and want to be sure I’m over it before I go spreading it around. It’s communion Sunday so I will have bread & juice here so I can participate with everyone else.

I spent some time working on my cross-stitch yesterday. I turned on the TV for noise and when I looked up, it was 3 hours later! Other than that I spent more time with Barbra and my toon tour.

It’s another crisp, cool, sunny day here. Expected high is 56 and it’s 44 at the moment.

    Everyone have a blessed Sunday.
