Every now and again, you see a sign in this strip, stating that some business is “Bushmiller’s.” Wasn’t Ernie Bushmiller the original writer and artist of this strip?

July and Winter are the only two seasons of my childhood. I love four seasons much better, but I really thrive in winter. Summer where I am now is sooo muggy.

Sluggo needs a makeover. How bout he grows some hair and have some sneakers. We all know him and Nancy, so Nancy could update her looks a bit. Does aunt Fritzie have a job or a boyfriend? I’ve been reading Nancy since I can remember but it’s way better than it used to be.
