Aunt Fritzi: Once in every life-- Someone comes along/ And you came to me/ It was almost like a song. Nancy: Why would you ever listen to a song that makes you cry? Aunt Fritzi: Oh, honey-- Remembering a bad break-up through a good song can sometimes wind up making you feel good. Nancy: I tell you-- She's finally LOST it.

All the inuendo, fetishness and voluptuous drawing aside, I got a good laugh out of Nancy’s reaction…

I always liked Ronnie’s version of “Any Day Now”. I like to surprise the karaoke crowd with that one – it makes a nice change from the rap tunes.

Ronnie is sure one of the greatest of all time. If you never have seen him LIVE, and he comes to your town, GO! I was writing the comic one day and this song came on……

I volunteer to console Aunt Fritzi.

Thank you Guy. This is a sweet one, and Nancy’s reaction is quite realistic for a kid her age.

The tributes are great, though I lost most interest in music when Homer and Jethro went down.I would like to add a tribute to Bob Hope. Without a doubt, he was seen LIVE by more people than any other major entertainer.(Due to his USO appearances. I saw him live in Ankara, Turkey in Dec. 1963)

Tiny shorts and literally falling out of her tank top, in a strip that’s about sorrow?“Gratuitous,” what’s that mean?Hey, have you seen my rewrite of “Romeo and Juliet,” where Juliet’s dressed in Victoria’s Secret?

It Was Almost Like a Song
Ronnie Milsap
Once in every lifeSomeone comes alongAnd you came to meIt was almost like a song
You were in my armsRight where you belongAnd we were so in loveIt was almost like a song
January through DecemberWe had such a perfect yearThen the flame became a dying emberAll at once you weren’t here
Now my broken heartCries for you each nightAnd It’s almost like a songBut it’s much too sad to write
