That’s exactly what I thought I had discovered when I was a 10-year-old school kid, a long, long time ago. Fillers! When you got handed to do a 3 to 5 page written assignment, on foolscap even, and there was only a couple of sentences on the subject in the library textbooks! The idea was to stretch out the point you were trying to make. To fill up the paper with as many words and synonyms of words as you can think of, to make it look like you are divulging some new information, or a new train of thought, but basically you are just trying to make the sentence last on and on, you know like how some politicians do it in their speeches, they turn a 2 minute speech into 2 hours, but I digress, getting back on track, some famous guy once said, history repeats itself, what comes around goes around. The circle goes on and on
