I’m with Esther on that one. When I was an 8-year-old boy I was so afraid of people telling ghost stories that if a psychiatrist tried to tell me to go in a haunted house and face up to a ghost to get over my ghost fears, uh uh, no way! You could have paid me a million dollars and I wouldn’t have faced up to my fear of ghosts!

Kids in comic strips do tend to ask a lot of philosophical questions. Play more video games.

If you do not want someone to bug you with a philosopical question, ask them one of yours first.
