I think we teach kids differently now. I remember reviewing a curriculum for primary school students a few years ago, and realising it was very similar to the business culture curriculum I’d been reviewing at work.
Zoomers will be an interesting generation when they hit the workforce.
As long as you really care about teaching, you won’t fail the kids. Well that, and make sure you don’t teach critical race theory, because critical race theory IS THE DEVIL’S WORK— shut up… me.
Well, considering that in Baltimore 41% of students earned a D or less…….I’d say that is a failure. But not just of school, of parenting, society, and government as well.
But they’re mostly poor black kids so it’s no real loss to society anyway apparently.
