My keys are always the first thing I use to open package boxes

Most times I don’t need more than a sturdy fingernail.

The last panel. As an inventor this gives me the inspiration to invent a key [hole] saw! Specifically, a key to saw holes.

Just casually ordering a box of scissors, as you do.

I’m guilty of 3 and 5 too, though.

Happy Mothers’ Day, Aunt Fritzi. You’re Nancy’s aunt but also her surrogate mother.

And as a bonus, this is another of the time/space bending “Nancy” strips. I just love these.

She probably broke the scissors opening the box her new key or nail clipper came in.

Get a kitchen knife, you dope. :P :P :P

why is there adhesive on the steak knives?

Pocket knife. The Victorinox ones have completely functional scissors aside from the blades.

Let me guess. That box holds her new scissors. Wrapped in the kind of plastic package that needs scissors, or a laser knife, to open.

Scissors should be a last resort to open a package like that. A nice sharp ‘X-acto’ knife is best, with just a small bit of the blade exposed.
