Lucy: Yeesh... who's that scary loud guy, Danae? Danae: That's Pat Buchanan, political policy spewer for media and a perennial presidential candidate with a small but rabid following. Lucy: Wow... he's got a lot of simple, absolute ideas on how to run defense, business and the economy! I guess that must come from his years of experience in the military and as a captain of industry, eh? Danae: Actually, he avoided the draft and has never held a real job in his life. Lucy: Uh... then why do people listen to him? Danae: 'Cuz bombast negates rational thought in our country. Lucy: Eek! Now who's that guy? Danae: Jesse Jackson. Same song, different arrangement. Lucy: Why do you watch that stuff? Danae: It makes my chore of mucking out your stall seem less disgusting.
