Danae: Uh... what are you doing, Lucy? Lucy: Talking to one of Santa's gnomes. His name is Olaf, and he's telling me how the naughty-or-nice reports work... Danae: Gnome? Don't you mean elf? Olaf: Elves are toy-makers, kid. It's gnomes who do all the field surveillance for Santa, collecting the hard data for his gift-giving analysis. Lucy: We were just going over your chart. Olaf: Yes... you'll note a spike in the "good" chart as we get closer to Christmas... Lucy: Cramming for finals, eh? Danae: Oh, be quiet. Um... what about my "bad" chart? Olaf: Oh, yours is legendary! It doesn't go any further than the middle of february. Danae: Oh, 'cuz I was so good the rest of the year? Olaf: Uh... not exactly... 'cuz it exploded. Lucy: Hmmm... isn't that when you said, "if it's not illegal, it must be moral"? Danae: Well, excu-u-use me for emulating adult standards...
