Danae: Can you send me back to yesterday, Jeffrey: Jeffrey: Sure, but it won't work, Danae. Danae: What won't work? Jeffrey: The main reason anyone wants to go back a short period of time is to undo a mistake, but it never actually works. Danae: How come? Jeffrey: It's a time travel paradox. Undoing a mistake erases the memory of it because now it never happened. Danae: Well, duh... that's the whole point! Jeffrey: But then you don't learn from it and end up making the same mistakes over and over again... hold on... I've got an inbound traveler. George W. Bush: Mission Accomplished! Bring 'em on!! Jeffrey: See?
