I notice there is no lane coming back but then who’d want to?

‘Twas 94 F in my area Sunday, and 90 is expected for Monday. Who needs “real life” when it’s still summer?!

“Real Life” it’s what always gets int eh way of some really good fantasies.

Down under we’ve had our warmest day since last autumn (fall). We’re just coming into Spring and looking forward to the lazy, hazy days of summer in a few months :) Come down and join us.

This is my last day of vacation. Real life resumes tomorrow at 9:00 am.

It’s still summer here. No hint of fall yet, unless you want to count kids going to school.

Throw out the first pitch. The series coming up. Can’t wait!!!! The Cinn. Reds stand a chance.

Why? What’s wrong with that? I appreciate the sentiment, but I am a cartoonist and there’s nothing wrong or derogatory about the term.

What I meant to articulate is that there are cartoonists, then there are authors of strips that tell stories through their art. I definitely did not intend to demean “cartoonists”: It was meant to be compliment to your individual form of art.

This is the time we get two nights of freezing to kill my tomatoes, then two more months of hot weather. Fall is different on “mountain time”, wherever you live in the higher elevations.

somewhere off the beaten path, would be my guess. meanwhile, here on the monterey peninsula, our best weather of the year is just ahead of us. ask wiley. he used to live here.

YAY! TOMORROW!!! its the FIRST DAY OF SPRING down here!!! at last!

Can’t wait till summer! Me and the Old Possum are just waiting for it. It has been the coldest, wettest winter we have had in over 10 years. Great to see the rain at long last after the drought, but oh! give me warm days!

I wish it could stay as spring or fall, where the temperature is just right.

Then again, if there was a worldwide thermostat that humans could access, could you imagine the wars that would be fought over it?

Bring on the seasons, I guess. :-/
