Kate: The twittersphere is in full panic mode over Danae being offline for so long, Daddy... Joe: So? Kate: So... her followers are convinced that the only logical explanation she'd stop tweeting for more than an hour is that she's hopelessly lost somewhere in the wilderness. They're trying to organize a search party, but having trouble getting volunteers. Joe: Afraid of venturing out of service range? Kate: That, and finding any twitter-heads who still have the ability to walk more than 50 yards without collapsing.
This is very interesting. Over 30 comments so far, and not one in defense of Twitter. Obviously, Twitter is very popular, with tens of millions of users, yet all we’ve seen here is how hated it is. No, I am not on Twitter (or Facebook), nor do I intend to ever waste my precious time with it, but I’m a bit surprised no one has refuted any of the comments here today, many of which are quite vitriolic about Twitter and those who use it. Maybe they’re all too busy tweeting every 10 seconds.
