Interesting that Wiley is taking advantage of the fact that so many people read the comics online, instead of in the newspapers. In the papers. you could never turn the three-panel format into six panels, because it’d be like reading postage stamps. But online, where people can enlarge them as big as needed…

Oh the dilemma, what to do about the annoying little problem without depriving oneself or being charged for child abuse. Some people would wait for the problem to correct itself but I suspect Danae is still too young for school.

Carful Wiley, the humorless crowd will scream about child abuse for the third option (I one I would vote for)

Amazing how topical this is considering the outage that impacted so many Americans in recent days!

Reboot the modem or router. Heck, reboot anything that’s on.

Funny, what people view as child abuse. I personally wouldn’t do such a thing, but the thought has crossed my mind a time or two.

In the states ‘corporal punishment’ has become child abuse, and now you have a generation or more of young people who need it the most!

In foriegn countries, if you need a lashing, you get a lashing!! Hence, an air of respect remains in which you still here ‘yes sir’ ‘yes maam’, even among young adults. Go ahead, have your freedom, you will probably choke on it later…………

I’m no fan of Danae, but I don’t appreciate today’s comic. -The reality is, there SHOULD be something done about the monopoly that too many so-called providers have over a service they seem to feel they should be paid to provide but not bother to provide. -And the first step in that solution should be adults (who presumably vote for the members of Congress and legislators who hand out permission for monopolies) to speak loudly to their alleged public servants. Do you think the bought and sold members of Congress would stand for this low level of quality in any service provided to them?

“It’s your job to figure out a solution for every annoying little problem and get it fixed!!” Veterinarians do that in spayeds. -If Capt. Eddie were to leave his boat, Anoesis , to Danae, the pronunciation might morph a bit, finally sounding more like “Annoy Sis.”

Those of us who do contend with shutting the modem down during thunderstorms know how Danae feels….but still , until the issue is resolved I would say a “Gag Order” is in order.

Charter was out again today, after a new modem yesterday. “We’re upgrading from 30 to 60MBs, all over the area, so neighborhoods will see sporadic, unpredictable outages. I live in TimeWarner country, so feel fortunate!” This is hitting very close to home.
