Irene: Hmm...there it is again...or isn't there, to be more precise. Man: What? Irene: If we really do have truth in advertising laws, why don't we ever see any obese people in fast food commercials? Man: I guess because that'd do more to keep people away, which undermines the whole purpose of the commer......And you're not actually talking about advertising, are you. Irene: Oh, perish the though, my all-American super-sizer.
Is it more the “food”, or more the “fast”? While I don’t go to those places, at real restaurants, the portions I see (at least) seem larger. I’m quite sure I’m ready to quit before it’s all gone, and the temptation not to waste it is strong (raised by Depression/WWII survivors).But if it would have been garbage, and you eat it anyway, aren’t you eating garbage?
