it is the loss of an hour of sleep that I will mourn until next November..

I hate Spring Forward.

I hate the whole time change phenomenon. Messes me up for at least a week. As to weather, well it is a little late in the season to still have 18" of snow on the ground.

Never saw any purpose for Daylight Savings, really…

Here we are in Daylight Stupid Time. My goats don’t get it, my chickens don’t get it and my pets don’t get it. I just get to go to work in the dark. Fine.

I prefer the time at this setting. I’ll soon be able to read my book while walking home from work again.

Somewhere there is a brightly lit vault where all that saved daylight is kept. I’m going to rob it, because I certainly haven’t seen my share!

daylight SAVING

Schadenfreude? Save some daylight and enjoy until you havta pay it back; think some of us have been in debt for decades. Danae is lucky.

The only day of the year my dogs sleep until 7.

People should look up ‘schadenfreude’. It’s totally hysterical then.

Yesterday (in Los Angeles) there was a total of 11 hours, 40 minutes of daylight. Today there will be a total of 11 hours, 42 minutes of daylight. So what have we saved?

“Wait… Danae is actually HAPPY about having to wake up an hour earlier????”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~No, she is just happy for Spring to be here. Course, it’s not here yet, so she’s just confused — like the rest of us.

I always get caught off guard by the time change. If my phone’s clock didn’t autoupdate, I’d be late to everything for at least a couple of days.

Now that I am retired, I’ve stopped changing my clocks. I just leave them on Summer Time all year long.
