Gonna be a crowd stampede/domino thing. She’s sitting on a pile of cash to scoop all this up. Does she even know what year she came back to? I’m looking to see if this was written in 2008.
A general panic and divestiture will certainly cause the crash predicted. It’s a bit like firing off a pistol into the air while predicting a stampede.
I have heard it said that liberals are hoping that the market crashes so that Trump looks bad. Untrue. Given the history of Republican policies in recent decades, liberals merely expect it to crash. I would be happy if the future proves them wrong.
It’s easy to be a prophet when you predict the inevitable will happen in the undefinable time period. It might even happen during a Democrat administration.
This “crash” depends on where you’ve been investing. If you bet against US manufacturers and put your money into foreign companies, yep, you lose. If you were more conservative and bet on Trump’s policies bettering the US economy, you will make out big. It’s a globalist crash and a domestic bull market.
To paraphrase FDR: the “Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Trump Itself”. Correction is in the air. The election is only days away. The Russians interfered in the 2016 elections. Trump’s tariffs hit the farmers. Trump’s buddy MBS had a journalist whacked in Turkey. The Trump presidency is starting to resemble an episode of the Sopranos.
The Crash is the Day After the 2020 Presidential Election. When Drumpf realizes he’s Lost in a landslide, he pitches the Biggest Presidential Tantrum of all time and declares War on Everyone.

Ordering the Bombing of Quebec turns out to be his Biggest mistake when Canada strikes back and takes out the White House & Congress in a “Surgical Strike”.
Before the Bush-Obama recession, the DJIA was up to about 14,000, it stagnated throughout the next eight years. After 2016, the market took off again and is now trading in the 25,000-26,500 range. Over the long term, you will make more staying in the market and not selling at every dip.

Makes the old stuff it in a mattress idea seem like genius. It doesn’t accrue interest that way but it also doesn’t shrink.

The first email ever sent was a prediction of a market crash. Or was it for Viagra?

I figure 20% – at worst 50%. I only lost 11% in the last one. I think I’m covered for this one.
