Didn’t see that coming. Nice sentiment Wiley.

It can’t be a Pro-Netflix movement. They haven’t had many new movies in the past few months.

A special guest appearance by the Wiley Bears.

Less pollution, and lower overall temperatures. (Yes, it’s hot here in Phoenix, but not as hot as it usually gets by this time of year.)

They are in a food serving establishment but not social distancing or wearing masks!

Those bears are darned smart.

You need to find the right kind of mask for your face and then wear it properly. So many people don’t know how to wear them.

Nope, not Zoom. Since they blocked Chinese pro-rights people because China told them to I deleted that app.

That’s ok. Pence said there wouldn’t be so many cases is there weren’t so much testing. Add the absence of masks, and you have a complete absence of CV-19 indicators. Should make his stats perfect. Another stat: his hat size and his IQ are the same.

News report today says that China is almost back to pre-pandemic levels of CO2 production.

The pandemic has many downsides: death and illness being the largest. There are also a lot of inconveniences ranging from unemployment to restrictions on personal pleasure. Which of these is most important to you probably reflects your political beliefs and knowledge of science.

However, there are some good things coming from it.

Some people are learning to be socially responsible – if they are sick in the future they will stay away from other people: maybe even wear a mask (which has been fashionable in Japan for decades). At least we all have learned to wash our hands more often which will cut down on the number of colds or flu we get in the future.

Work at home has its advantages. Less pollution, shorter commute times, save on gas and wear and tear on the car. I look out the window at my garden instead of a cube wall.

I take lunch with my coworker (wife) and we walk to cul-de-sac together and we meet and talk with our neighbors.

I bring my dog to work.

I don’t have to take a lot of time off work if I have a contractor coming over to fix something.

I’ve become an expert on Zoom and we have many family reunions. The next one is on Sunday at 2 PM EDT. That’s 7 PM for the Irish relatives and 11 AM for the west coast relatives. We would not normally all get together at least at the same time.

I will mine whatever silver I can find in this cloud’s lining.

But if everyone stays indoors the bears will have to find another source of food.

Ironically, comic social commentary is serious stuff.

Unfortunately, for Wiley bears and their polar bear cousins, the continued ocean warming (in spite of the global lockdown) is destroying the ice pack – their natural hunting grounds – and has caused such drastic weather changes like the unbelievable heatwave in Siberia at the moment – “Parts of Siberia are hotter than Washington, with temperatures nearly 40 degrees above average” -

Okay, here’s a (non-user, please be kind) question…why is everyone using Zoom instead of Skype?

Hey Wiley: How about licensing some American company to make stuffed Wiley Bears? Have them made in Maine. You’ll make a mint & we will have something to give to children, who won’t get the underlying meaning.

Ah, but could any stuffed bear (good things in general) really be able to capture Wiley Bears’ expressions of cheerfulness, friendliness, and happiness to eat us?

If only it could be so simple. Fat and happy Wiley bears and all creatures would be nice.

Why polar bears? They’re doing better now (according to studies done in the last few years) then any recorded time and are back to eating their natural prey of caribou rather then seals.

Can we get the bear panel as a coloring page?

Does anyone know how to prevent glasses from fogging up when one is wearing a mask?
