That’s what getting a degree in programming is for!

Yup – as a female programmer I sort of resent this. When I wanted to know how to program – I went and learned it.

Back in the 70s when my boyfriend needed to program his first computer to have a database for his customer base, I was the one to take a night school class and learn basic (the only language offered to the public at that time-or needed for early Tandy Computers). He wound-up needing too many add on memory modules for all the clients and all the fields he wanted to track.

My sweetie-pie (wife) handles the “’puter stuff” in our house. My computer expertise ends with two tin cans and a length of twine.

Maybe she meant that boyfriends are there to teach her to program.I’m going to believe that, anyway.

obviously she’s going to handle the recipes and the food part, and her boyfriend will do the programming. sounds like a plan to me. :)@senex: thinking like management – EXACTLY!

After seeing some of the crimes against humanity (and common sense) perpetrated by Rita in the Working Daze strip, and the Pointy-Haired-Boss in Dilbert, “thinking like management” might not be such a good thing.
