I hope the cartoonists don’t plan to show Claire’s idea turning out well and “saving” the restaurant.As others have said, in the real world, it’s the path to ruin.He has a little jewel of a regional Italian restaurant, that only needs promotion and hopefully a boost from inviting a few food critics…And he’s supposed to waste his time learning to make unfamiliar and incompatible food like falafel or barbecue…. while handing over…and to an inexperienced new hire(!)… the responsibility for all the traditional dishes it’s taken him 40 years to perfect.
