… and I see another art gallery that will buy the stupidest things and call them art.
Years ago, the Atlanta airport commissioned a piece of art to hang in the terminal while it was being renovated. The real workers – painters, carpenters, etc. – almost threw it out. It looked like a long used painter’s dropcloth! The airport spent $250,000 for this piece of junk. One of the painters said to the newspaper, “Heck! I will save the airport 90% and sell them my used dropcloth for only $25,000!”
I wonder if that piece of junk is still in the airport?
