Habitat Restore sometimes has good tools for a good price- and the money goes to Habitat for Humanity. They sell donations of things either left over from building or remodeling or good-condition items removed from a place before it’s remodeled or torn down. I’ve gotten pieces of countertop long enough to make a desk, doorknobs, trims and accents for different small projects, and since my bathroom wall is cheap and ugly plastic tile I’m getting cream tiles in the same size and will mix them up, so it will be a mix of shades, textures, and glossiness
