Have they tested Ruthie for deficient hearing ?

I like Ruthie’s interpretations. They make more sense than some of the adults’.

I remember some of those misinterpretations I made as a kid, things I’m almost embarrassed to admit. The Seattle Center Center House was a former National Guard armory. My dad said they used to have their drills here, and I wondered why the floor wasn’t scuffed up from all the drill bits.

When I’d see promos for “Evening at Pops”, I assumed Arthur Fiedler was Pop.Reminded that Mom stopped watching soaps when my sister started asking questions.

I thought they kept dead bodies at the body shop.

LOL!!! These interpretations are reasonable. Comedians use this sort of thing and they are all grown up!

I was eight before I realized that aifabell and beofellie were initialnyms rather than words. My grandfather was General Chairman on the Katy railroad and my mother would be stenographer when he had to write his reports. (American Federation of Labor, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, and Missouri, Kansas & Texas)

I watch Days of Our Lives and they don’t have the “vegas” idea of anything.
