I have noticed in past scripts that Ruthie and Joe’s parents take them to church. Obviously the church is teaching good doctrine and Ruthie is learning it. I can only hope that Joe is learning those same lessons.
Ruthie great job your learning your Sunday lessons well. And Joe instead of criticizing your sister praise her for being more creative for we do celebrate the birth of Jesus.
So, not only is does GoComics have this strip skewed by three days (with the Sunday one running on Thursdays), but it’s also skewed by a few weeks (with this obviously being a December one). Why can’t they just skip a few and get it on track?
JPuzzleWhiz: And the Queen, born in April, celebrates in June when the weather is better. The US, born on July 2, celebrates on July 4. The October Revolution occurred in November. What is your point?
People should stop complaining about the date of this OBH. I will always be pleased to see more than one of these because they are all classic. It is so easy to pop over to Creators for the other and pop back to comment.
I like that Ruthie covered he mistake and wasted neither the paper or her effort. And in creators, she assumes the hibernating characters would need bathroom breaks, but that is unlikely.
I agree. And I am all for adapting the weather to the event or vice-versa.
For that reason I took the name Beatrice (happy/blessed) Fayrewether (I considered even modern spelling- fair weather). I use that in my re-enactments (and registered with the society).
Continue on with your discussions. Either way, BRILLIANT save for a little girl! And like DAZZ I love this strip, new or repeats, like a fine wine, repeats of classic strips elicit the same response!
