Yes, men have less trouble sleeping because we women have trained ourselves to sleep very lightly (like birds) always listening for the crying child or other emergency.
As we get older though, we all may like to close our eyes a little during the day (as Nick was at today’s strip). My current man does more than I, and it’s fine with me. we both sleep well.

It is usually the women who have a hard time sleeping. The older men drop right off and start snoring, according to my sisters and female friends.
