My nieces and nephews were the worst for using “me and”, usually without the d. I got into the habit of answering them as if they had said “mean” instead of “me and”. “Me and John” would be answered by “I didn’t know John was so mean”. They got so sick of it that they started using “John and I” when they were around me, and hopefully all the time.
