met 2 friends of my sister while both had their dogs, 1 a Great Dane, the other a Yorkie. Yorkie not even as bib as the GD head. Placed on a picnic table, the Yorkie charged the GD, barking like crazy. The GD was startled, then backed down. Could not back away quickly enough.Small dogs, under 20 lbs make excellent watch dogs. We have a puppy mill save, 7 years old, 16 lbs, he has a loud shrill bark, he is the best house guard you could imagine
When I was a kid, I had a friend whose family owned a Chihuahua. Their next door neighbors had a Saint Bernard. The Saint Bernard was scared of the Chihuahua.

Regarding today’s comic: Sometimes when my wife calls me I ask if she is my wife or my girlfriend. “Both” is the usual reply.
