That great experiment with self esteem ruined an entire generation. I have heard supervisors complain about the self esteem generation who expect praise for doing exactly what they were hired to do and if you try to correct their behaviour, they call mommy to complain who apparently have the number for the company CEO on speed dial.Mostly what I heard is that they complained if someone else was praised/given a raise for outstanding work because in school everyone got a trophy
Just like T-Ball game or sports for kids, makes no difference if won or loss children who play made to feel great about themselves.I agree with Ruthie that gets tiresome.
