Ours was, a rat in the house may eat the ice cream. That’s the extent of my math education.

I have long forgotten the sayings we had for algebraic formulas we were taught to figure out electronics components in tech school, but were never used when we got in the field

Eddie Ate Dynamite Good Bye Eddie (not a math mnemonic, but the notes of properly tuned guitar). That’s the only one I can call to mind. I always found the mnemonics more troublesome than the actual information. But as to the extra credit for choreography,

“Instead of dance it’s choreography / Jakes who did breaks they’re not breaking anymore / They’re doing choreography / Chicks who did kicks aren’t kicking anymore / They’re doing choreography.” Thanks and apologies to “Choreography” from the movie White Christmas (1954).

Funny, last night I was recalling how other kids had trouble spelling “arithmetic,” but I knew because I used to mispronounce it.

[WARNING: Unsuitable for younger readers] My anatomy professor started to give us a mnemonic for the cranial nerves, “Oh, oh, oh, to touch and feel a girl’s …” but broke it off there just before the vagus nerve.
