I took a pencil drawing class at a local community college. One assignment took us outdoors to choose a stick to draw. Some people spent the full 3-hours just to choose a “perfect” stick. I found a perfectly serviceable stick in five minutes and turned it into a drawing of a belly dancer balancing it on her head in the same amount of time. Don’t get stuck in the process.
