Oh come on Grandpa you know you don’t need a computer to make paper planes. I used to make them in school as far back as I can remember. We’d see if we could fly them to the front of the classroom.
I still remember how to make the kind that tend to fly long distances. I’ve forgotten how to make the shorter ones that tend to do more “acrobatic” stuff…
Back many years ago, I was a Physics major. The small department library had a window that overlooked a small lake. We spent many a session on studying aerodynamics by flying airplanes out the window. The goal was to put it one in the lake.
Funny, I got a job as a corporate trainer when in my group interview I taught the interviewers how to make paper airplanes and we took them into the hall where I taught each how to hold and throw the airplanes. This was for a BANK too. It was so different than the other applicants that just stuck to teaching banking that the group already knew, so I got the job!
