I once overheard a customer at Subway complain that the meatballs on his sub were on the wrong side. I suggested that as long as they were on the inside what difference did it make. He gave me a sour look, but shut up.

I done the same as mom. My brother-in-law makes flavored mustard he is 10 flavors.
Mom should have said “Eat or go hungry!”
She’s right, though. Condiments are TOPPINGS, not BOTTOMINGS. They don’t belong on the bottom where they get that bottom piece of bread all soggy.
