Seems to me that Isis is a lucky gal.

Yep. She is “Caroline in the City” and I am “Doogie Howser, MD.”

I remember the first time this ran. It was Bill’s valentine to Isis.

I don’t know that Bill qualifies as “average” or “dorky”. Anyhow, as close observers of the old TV show “The Dating Game” noticed, the dorky guy behind the curtain quite often got the nod from the babe, because he wasn’t a self-absorbed and/or brain-dead jerk like the cute ones.
