Three of my cats would be in that tree 10 seconds after it is up and decorated. The last one, doesn’t climb, but he’ll meow so I pick him up and put him on a limb somewhere.
NOOOOO – too soon! I absolutely draw the line at anything Christmas until Thanksgiving is over! My Tommybaum* goes up in the living room window that weekend.
*A Christmas “tree” made by decorating a traffic cone, invented by stray cat Tommy of Breaking Cat News. (I forget who gave it the name.) It appears in the first Christmas Special:
And then the cats say, “We know it’s early but let’s take it down right away. They will put it back up again and we can do this over and over for a full month.”
