When Louie said this night (Christmas Eve) was the one time each year that he could speak he reminded me of a 50’s TV show called “I remember Mama”, where animals could speak on Christmas Eve. The donkey on that TV show would talk to a girl named Dagmar every Christmas Eve in his barn.
