Just before the pandemic, I was down in Antarctica kayaking in the pristine waters when I encountered a humpback whale. We couldn’t avoid bumping into each other as it glided below me gently scraping my kayak and surfacing on my other side when it exhaled (blew) and I copped a facefull of whale snot. That was the moment that I truly saw God, and she was magnificent! How any human can justify killing such extraordinary creatures is totally beyond me. If whales could fight back, well they wouldn’t, they are really more sentient and accepting than us as a species. So Nate, fire away!
