I have to come to Elvis’ defense. Later Elvis was an unfortunate perversion of what he had been. But early Elvis was a revolution. He almost single handedly brought black rhythm and blues to the mainstream.

i find the brandenburg concertos and bach’s fugues incredible masterpieces and i’m a regular viewer of the classic arts channel, but i’m also a big fan of rock from the 50’s and 60’s, especially the british invasion and american garage rock.
