    My mother is a singularly unhappy lottery player, and I don’t think winning would make her happier for long, especially since statically she won’t win. You don’t feel good about things unless you earn it and feel you have control over it. Otherwise things are so arbitrary and it could easily be taken away.

    First thing I would do is to meet with a tax lawyer and those who work with large sums of money. Invest most of it and you can be living off the interest just fine. Also give to charities and my family too.
