I guess being a raccoon isn’t enough for him.

“inevitable mortality”? He’s a toon, he can live forever. See Blondie, Dick Tracy, Peanuts, etc etc.

He’s going to end up stuffed and mounted in some dive bar in Wyoming.

Yesterday I wondered if it was hunting season. Then I read an article about troublesome raccoons in a Seattle neighborhood that will be killed by wildlife officials, so some individuals are hoping to live-trap them first and release them into the “wild”, wherever that is. A wildlife official says that’s only allowed if you have a license in an official hunting season. The implication is that Washington State has raccoon hunting seasons. Who knew?

I’ve known a few human Slackelopes in my day but they had no antlers ;-)

He’s got a long way to go before he can match “Joe Cool.”
