I live in the desert…please, no…

So there you have it … this is it … definitive proof … not only is climate change real … but it’s way beyond what anyone thought it was.

Here in sunny SoCal, for the last few years (aka, the hottest in recorded history), I’ve suffered through hot winter off-shore Santa Ana winds with temps in the 90s … in January!… and longed for the more moderate mid-70s of summer … except this summer, when it got up to 106 just 10 miles from the coast with an on-shore wind!

We had a very hot summer this year, with temperatures around 30C. But September started with a drop in temperature, colder than it usually is this time of year. And lots of rain as well.

Not on my part of the blue marble . Fall has come on early and strong . Expect first frost next week ;-)

Yes, “climate change is real”. Of course, it changes every single day. Typically, it gets colder at night and warmer during the day. Sheesh, give it a rest.

North of France, well known for its wet, water logged long grey days from sept to April and occasional snow in winter… is in urgent need of wet, water logged days for autumn and winter.

I like the idea, I’m sick of shoveling snow.

I feel like this is a distinctively Texas problem. At least it was when I lived there.

Northern Michigan is a little weird, this year. Many trees are bright red….. but most are still green. Color change is a little late,….. and half the trees haven’t gotten the memo. NO yellows or orange,….. just red and green.

Chicago had a very hot spring this year.

Here in Arid-zona’s Valley of the Sun, we had fewer 110-plus-degree days this summer than we have in past years. In fact, we haven’t hit even 100 in more than a week, and by next week we’ll be in the upper 80s for highs.

Why sunglasses only in the summer? You need them in the winter just as much, especially if it snows.
