Nothing keeps squirrels out of bird feeders… except:

1 Close Air Support: red-tail hawks do anti-rodent really well. There’s a pair of red-tails who have nested near here for years.

2. Assault Infantry: around here, there used to be a mostly orange semi-feral cat everyone called Tiger. She’s dead, but some of her children are still with us. They just love squirrels.

3. Special Forces: we have several black racers in the area. They love squirrels, too.

All of them have noticed that squirrels like to hang out near bird feeders. They leave the birds alone (mostly, the cats might go for a light snack if no squirrels are available) and chase squirrels. And possums. and assorted others.

Overkill ! Bet she misses , ? What is the arming range on those things ?

Mix cayenne pepper with the bird food. Birds aren’t affected.

It’s a bird feeder. Hammy is being horrible mean to the birds. I knew his all hugs and such was just an act!

My neighbor had one of those feeders that would spin the squirrels into the air once their weight activated it. That was truly entertaining while I had breakfast on the patio. Sadly, my neighbor passed away and the feeder disappeared last year.

“Quick! That’s the Trump plane overhead! Your leader wants some fresh air!”

The dome will do nothing. The bazooka will do quite a lot.
