I once was in an art museum. On exhibit was a 4 by 8 foot sheet of plywood that had been cut into six inch strips, then charred progressively worse from left to right with a blowtorch, with about two inches between strips.
I commeted, “I could have done that.”
My companion said, “Yeah, but if you’d done it, it wouldn’t have been art.”
