George P. Shultz: The Russian proposals for missile reduction in Europe seem genuine, Mr. President. President Ronald Reagan: Damn, George, stall it. Or something! - Can't our Moscow embassy do anything? Shultz: Our Moscow embassy is completely compromised, sir! Reagan: Well, what about NATO? - Can't they protest, or whatever? Shultz: Our allies are buying the Glasnost line, sir - Gorbachev is a great communicator. Reagan: Don't we have any other allies? What about Japan? Shultz: Japan's not in Europe, sir - besides, you've declared war on Japan. Reagan: War, yes...it was early morning in Honolulu. We were asleep in our barracks... I remember now... The zeros came in low over the hills! The day of infamy!... Punk: Call out the Marines!
