A perspective view of Snoopy’s doghouse and Snoopy actually remembering CB’s name (instead of calling him “that round-headed kid”). Early days, indeed.

Interesting use of graphics in the speech balloon – decorative grawlixes (or grawlices?) I know we’ll see Schroeder singing German in Fraktur at some point in the future, but I don’t recall Schulz playing with fonts much.

A rare instance when Snoopy refers to Charlie Brown by name and not “the round-headed kid.”

One of the first instances of “Good ol’ Charlie Brown”?

At this point he hasn’t taken any dance lessons, so no “Supper Dance”!

Isn’t it a bit late for Thanksgiving?
