Didn’t Violet just make her brags about her bigger, better TV to CB the other day? Not much good if it’s broken. In the old days, the small tvs were real workhorses, lasted for decades.
I still remember from the mid-60s, my dad taking a bag of very-carefully-handled TV tubes to the self-tester at the local Smoke Shop, only to learn that the tube we had identified as bad was out of stock. He was not happy.

That’s a coincidence. My tv just died last week. Like them, I’ve just been listening to the radio. The only tv show I really miss is Jeopardy.
