Lucy is probably still jacked up on Mt. Dew (or so it appeared the other day when she couldn’t go to sleep). Charlie Brown should’ve remembered this years later when she would tell him 5 cents please and the football.
When I was young (long ago for some of you), TV shows used to show (sometimes) people breaking their records with a single slam on the floor, wall, etc. (like Donna Reed in “It’s a Wonderful Life”)… but the 45s and LPs I grew up with were flexible vinyl. Point? Charlie Brown’s record collection must be the old-timey records that were way easy to snap… :-) Someone in the know who lived it would be able to tell you (beyond Google) just when the changeover began…

Man, wall to wall pupils! No wonder Lucy was crabby when she was older, they apparently took her off the potent substances she’s on here.

My Dad would beat my behind if I did something like that as a child. Vinyls are hard to come one across now especially of how expensive they are

I saw lots of the oldest comics but managed to miss all these with Lucy’s eyes looking like that! I don’t like those at all!
