I’ll take the coconut ones AND the dark chocolate ones!

Coconut is like Marmite: you love it or hate it. I love them both.

BTW, Violet: giving people things you consider trash yourself is not “generosity.”

Never look a gift horse in the mouth, CB…save the smart remarks for after the candy is finished!

Mr Charles Schulz, it is COCONUT not cocanut. Or at least his heirs should correct the strip.

I’ve always preferred dark chocolate. I can take or leave coconut, but wouldn’t turn down chocolate because of it.

Green things? Well, depends on what they are.

Cocoanut?

Life is like a box of chocolates – it’s mostly filled with nuts.

I don’t often get the chance to pick on cartoonists, so I’m absolutely giddy right now. It’s “coconut”, not “cocoanut”. No relation to cocoa plants.

She’s so good to you CB, she’s bad.

If the green ones are mint, I’ll take those.

Charlie Brown HATES coconut. In a very early strip dated 2-24 (I’m not sure of the year) Violet offers Charlie a mud pie which she has garnished with coconut. He accepts, takes a bite, then spits it out – not because it is mud, but because it contains coconut. In another strip, Patty (not Peppermint) orders coconut candy at the candy counter because CB has just told her he likes everything except coconut.

I love the expression on Charlie Brown’s face in the second cel and how he is sticking his tongue out: BLECH!!!

I would gratefully accept all three of these.

I wouldn’t complain at all. I love fancy chocolates, and dark chocolate on coconut is my favorite.

BTW, didja see “cocoanut” in the first panel? ;-)

The coconut ones are good, but throw out the dark chocolate. Unless it’s got a peppermint creme center.

I never liked coconut as a kid, and I’m pretty sure it was just because everybody in Peanuts dumps on it all the time.
