As the dog chewed his veggie treat, this exchange…

Captain: See, Mr. Green Jeans? There’s the Carrot-Eating Poodle, just like I said!

Mr. Green Jeans: Ummm? What I’m seeing is a poodle eating carrot.

No kale or hair??

Everyone reading this today knows that you can’t make a snowman without gloves on!

If we’re out of carrots, my granddaughter will use another rock for the nose.

After seeing that commercial carrots make me cringe.

This reminds me of a cartoon I saw some years ago featuring a demonic looking rabbit pointing a hair dryer at two frightened snowmen and the caption read: “C’mon James, let’s just give him our noses.”

I’m no expert, but there is something I really love about these old Sunday Color strips. There is so much interesting detail. I like how he has Charlie Brown standing proudly in the third panel, or in panel four how Charlie Brown is taking a “short-cut” across to get to Patty faster, and not following the sidewalk. Why is panel seven pink? Maybe someday I will study this more and learn about how artists make these decisions.

Every dog I’ve owned has loved carrots.
