Jason Snake Lover was once thirty-nine billion, seven hundred forty million and one miles away. (Mars is not going to be crashing down onto Earth that soon, Lucy.)

In celestial terms that’s close!

We’ll tell you when it’s, say, 34 miles away, Lucy. Then you can duck and cover!!

This is 1954, so I’ll not mention the metric system, but now I’d be putting it as 64 millions of kilometers, or gigameters.

Maybe it is just me but panel 3 with Lucy and CB’s eyes visible within their silhouettes looks creepy.
